You shocked the hell out of me. I did not know you could go that low to cheat on your longtime girlfriend now-wife with several of your female staff members but then you're David Letterman. Yet, do not make yourself the victim just because a CBS news producer tried to blackmail you and is now charged with extortion and possible jailed time.
Then, famed Hollywood director Roman Polanski was arrested early last week after skipping his rape trial 30 years ago. How can someone get away with drugging, raping, and anally sodomizing a 13 year-old girl and then leaves the U.S to Europe, but then gets the support of the French intellectual aristocracy and Hollywood actors like Natalie Portman?
Let me play the Devil's advocate. A person bombs U.S federal buildings, killing thousands of Americans in the process. He/she skips his/her sentence and then leaves the country to live in another country as a U.S fugitive. The CIA and the international police manages to arrest him/her after thirty years out on the run. Would you want that person to be punished for the crime that he/she had committed years ago? I bet you won't hear of a support petition in the news. These particular celebrity gossip stories are so complex, I personally do not know who are the main victims.
